Description

Tasting notes:
Made with grapes from a 100 year-old vineyard of La Consulta (Uco Valley). 14 months in new French oak barrels (Taransaud).
Colour: Intense ruby red with purple reflections and subtle violet sparks.
Aroma: Notes of violets typical of the variety; ripe black fruit (blackberries, figs) and dried raisins, jam notes with subtle hint of coffe and tobacco.
Mouth: Excellent concentration, voluptuous, blackberry jam and plums, the tannins give great structure, balanced with a surprising smoothness. Intense and elegant wine.
